Know Your Rights: Auto Body Repair in Indiana

In Indiana, you have the legal right to choose where your vehicle is repaired—not your insurance company. Your Rights at a Glance: • Freedom to Choose Your Shop - Indiana law protects your right to select the auto body shop you trust, even if your insurance company recommends a different one. • No Obligation to Use \"Preferred Shops\" - Insurance companies may suggest certain shops due to cost agreements, but you are not required to use them. • No Penalties for Choosing Your Own Shop - You will not be penalized or denied coverage for choosing a shop outside your insurer’s network. • Right to Choose Parts - You also have the right to decide what kind of parts are used in your repair—new, aftermarket, or used—especially within five years of the vehicle’s model year If you have questions, contact our team and we will help guide you through the process!
